It’s a 66/34 blend of shiraz and cabernet from the Barossa. It shows a savoury blackberry and dark plum aroma with a slightly cedary influence. There is immense power and concentration, yet it’s super fine and stylishly elegant. The careful use of a mix of new and old oak has been expertly harnessed to sit harmoniously with the fruit and tannin.
