Made in 500 L open barrels with manual punching down then pressed with (clean) feet.Ageing in French one year old 300 L barrel for 14 months.Deep garnet-red with purple tints.Rich, complex, smoky and mineral nose with violets, blackcurrants, licorice, black cherries jam, plums and soft spices.Full, smooth, fresh attack with rounded and good volume and a long savoury end. Limited annual production between 1600 and 2000 bottles.
