Penfolds Koonunga Hill Cabernet Sauvignon 75cl
RM0.00
“There’s never been such a thing as a crook Koonunga Hill. It’s always a reliable drop, but in top years you can expect something out of the ordinary.” – Don Chitter, former chief winemaker at Penfolds and the man who created the Koonunga Hill label.
The nose is ostensibly varietal and ripe, without any suggestion of greenness. Dark cabernet fruits and tomato leaf aromas combine with complex notes of spice, nutty oak and black olive to create an enticing aromatic lift. The wine shows an impressive mix of spice and berry, with balanced natural acidity The sweet mid-palate is long and full, with firm tannins and trademark Penfolds integrated oak.
Koonunga Hill Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from a blend of regions including Barossa, Clare Valley and Coonawarra. Medium bodied, fruit driven Cabernet – perfect for your favourite hearty red meat dishes like steaks, snarlers and casseroles!
