Diageo Special Releases The 2020 collection, includes eight cask strength single malt Scotch whiskies drawn from some of Scotland’s most interesting distilleries. Diageo’s 2020 Special Releases was inspired by the theme ‘Rare by Nature’.
Cardhu 11-Year-Old, An 11 year-old version from refill, virgin oak and ex-bourbon. Bottled at 56.0% abv.
Cragganmore 20-Year-Old, From refill casks and new fresh-charred casks, bottled at 55.8% abv.
Dalwhinnie 30-Year-Old, Bottled at 51.9% abv. Matured on refill hogsheads.
Lagavulin 12-Year-Old, Bottled at 56.4% abv. Aged in refill American oak casks.
Mortlach 21-Year-Old, Bottled at 56.9% abv. Aged in a mix of Pedro Ximénez and oloroso sherry-seasoned casks.
Pittyvaich 30-Year-Old, bottled at 50.8% abv. Finished in first-fill bourbon casks.
Talisker 8-Year-Old, Bottled at 57.9% abv. It was aged in ex-pot still Caribbean rum casks – a first for the distillery.
The Singleton of Dufftown 17-Year-Old, Bottled at 55.1% abv. Matured exclusively in refill American oak hogsheads.
